The Lumineers' Jeremiah Fraites & deadmau5 Game on Twitch To End Child Hunger in America

Jeremiah Fraites, co-founder of The Lumineers, will be taking part in a livestream today, Wednesday, June 24th, called GAMING 2 GIVE BACK.

Fraites and deadmau5, will "squad up" for the first time with professional gamers, Halifax and Hambinooo, in a live stream gaming event created in conjunction with PUBG Corporation.

Activist Artists Management and PUBG Corporation are co-producing the live stream event, which will be held from12-4 PT/ 3-7 pm ET, on the Play With PUBG Twitch Channel here.

All proceeds from GAMING 2 GIVE BACK will benefit the No Kid Hungry campaign to end child hunger in America, with PUBG Corporation donating $1.00 USD for every unique viewer (up to $100,000 USD) across the broadcast.

According to No Kid Hungry, one in four children in the U.S. could face hunger this year because of the coronavirus. Every $1.00 USD donation provide up to ten meals to children in need across the country.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the event, Fraites said:

“During these especially challenging times, we must remember that children should not need to provide for themselves. As a father, the mission of No Kid Hungry is one that resonates deeply with me. This event is a great way to help the children most in need of our support and will hopefully inspire others to give back as well.”

Fraites is also debuting his new single on Dualtone Records, “Player Unknown.” The song will be exclusively released during GAMING 2 GIVE BACK before it’s made available on all digital service providers and music streaming services on Wednesday, June 24.

Proceeds from Fraites’ single will be donated to No Kid Hungry. PUBG Corporation will be licensing “Player Unknown” from Fraites for promotion of the event and donating the proceeds to No Kid Hungry.

Event sponsor, Grubhub, will be providing viewers with a code for $5 off any order on the day of the stream so that they can support local restaurants and save on the food they love without missing any of the action.
