French orchestral Hip Hop Producer Wax Tailor returned earlier this year with "Keep It Movin" featuring US rapper D Smoke. Now, he has announced his first new full length album in 5 years, The Shadow Of Their Suns, due out January 8, 2021 and featuring a number of guests including Gil Scott-Heron, Mark Lanegan, Adeline, Del The Funky Homosapien & Mr Lif, Yugen Blakrok and Boog Brown.

Lead single “Misery” (ft. Rosemary Standley) has been released alongside a "futuristic video telling a cautionary tale". Created by Berkay Turk, the video "draws a dystopian portrait of a society under surveillance and authoritarian rule in which the characters hide their emotions and expressions behind emoticons".

Wax Tailor and his collaborators present this new project "at a time where observation, reflection, collaborative discussion and action are needed most", according to the artist.

Wax Tailor will embark on an international tour next fall which will start in France with a date at the Paris Olympia on December 2, 2021.
