Elliott Smith's 'Pretty (Ugly Before)' Gets A Limited 7 Inch Repress In Electric Blue & White
Suicide Squeeze Records has announced a pre-order for a repress of “Pretty (Ugly Before)" by Elliott Smith, and has noted that this was the last recording of his to be released while he was still alive. The 7 inch also features the song, “A Distorted Reality Is Now A Necessity To Be Free”.
Originally released as a single in August of 2003, the songs were part of the recording sessions that would result in the significant posthumous album From A Basement On The Hill.
Suicide Squeeze says, "The two songs serve as a powerful reminder of why Smith became the voice for a dejected generation."
This repress is limited to 500 copies on half electric blue & half white vinyl.
