Born in Medellin, Colombia, in a musical family, Claudia is a singer and guitarist who has traveled with her own music singing in various international stages. In 1983 she established herself in the San Francisco Bay Area where she lived for 15 years, during which she recorded "Claudia Canta Brasil", "Tierradentro" and "Salamandra". From 1998 to 2002 she lived in Madrid, Spain, and traveled Europe with her music. There she recorded her fourth album "Vivir Cantando". In 2002 Claudia returned to her homeland and recorded "Majagua", an album dedicated to her vision and concept of Colombian music. In 2009 Claudia recorded her sixth album "Arropame que tengo frio", dedicated to the Romances of the Atrato River. In September 2010, Claudia makes a 'live recording', a solo album with her own guitar playing, singing her compositions; an acoustic and intimate album called "Tal Cual".
