Musican/ Aerial Cinematographer/ Producer Craig L. Peyton An artistic development of over 20 years can be evidenced in the career of Craig Peyton. Moving from music to film, Peyton has charted a unique creative course. Peyton's production, writing, and arranging skills contributed to many top 10 hits. (including Peyton's own #1 charting AC release, 'Latitude, 40 Degrees North'), in the 80's and 90's with artists including James Brown, Melba Moore, Nona Hendrix, Levon Helms, and Dan Hartman, and made Peyton, a much sought after producer in New York City. Peyton has written underscore music for the Smithsonian, PBS 'Nature' series, 'Friends',and many TV productions and jingles. In 1991 Peyton founded EarthFlight Media, a multi media production and music company that combined his passion for flying, filming, and music. A 4,500 hour instrument rated pilot, Peyton learned the craft of aerial cinematography flying his aircraft, a Mooney 201,while filming a full length music video to support his 'Latitude, 40 Degrees North' audio CD. Peyton has flown aerials on assignment throughout North America, Central America, South America, Africa, and Europe. His aircraft is outfitted with a custom film camera wing-mount, and various hard points for lipstick cams and digital. Continuing to release CD's on his EarthFlight music label, Peyton has also been busy producing aviation related programs for cable TV. The Outdoor Life network had Peyton fly throughout North America filming nature backdrops for a news info program. Peyton produced a one hour show for Speed Vision, titled 'The Rebirth of Civil Aviation'. This program ran over 30 times. Peyton hosted BET's 'Jazz Central' program, featuring many of his aerial 'Visual Music' productions. This led to an appearance on the CNN Morning News, discussing Visual Music and aerial photography. Regional News Network's (RNN) uses Peyton's time lapse aerial down the Hudson River as it's opening nightly news shot. Peyton's industrial work includes turnkey productions for major aviation companies as, UPS Aero, Sennheiser, Extra Aircraft, Oxford Aviation, Northstar Avionics, Pilot Communications, JP Instruments and many others. One recent project involved producing a short film for the French turboprop aircraft, TBM 700, on location in Monument Valley, for the aerospace giant, 'EADS'. EarthFlight Media has also just completed a major promotion for the Ministry of Tourism, Bahamas, enticing pilots to visit the country. Currently, Peyton just returned from Baffin Island, Canada, filming for Folbot Inc., a folding Kayak company. Peyton flew with legendary aerial photographer Robert Fulton, in a single engine Cessna aircraft from New York to Quito, Ecuador while helping shoot 35MM aerials for the BBC. Peyton's aerial photography has contributed to many films like 'Storm' with Luke Perry, 'Island of Doctor Moreau' with Marlon Brando, as well as numerous TV and feature releases. John Putnam/ Guitar Wizzard/ Male Model/ Role Model John Putnam has played with many talented and well known artists, including Southside Johnny, Cher, Madonna, Darlene Love, Jimmy Cliff, Angelo Badelamente, Desmond Child, Canadian Star Ginette Reno, Blues star Shamekia Copeland, Richard Shindell, Lucy Kaplanski, Pat Kilbride, Wayne Newton,(yup- that's right)Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr, Brookes and Dunne, and Melissa Manchester. John worked in the orchestra for the Broadway production of 'The Who's Tommy' He has released a CD with Vibes player Craig Peyton called Latitude-Blue Curve ( Check out the Earthflight Productions Web site.) Notable commercials include Sherwin Williams, Visa, Mountain Dew, and many others. A very versatile player, John is adept at electric and acoustic guitar, Pedal Steel, Lap Steel, Dobro, and Tiple. John also performs with The John Putnam Band, offering a blend of Blues, Folk and Rock He is a native New Yorker and extremely handsome. On occasion he has been known to fra with a glib cressed only to see what the opps can't thaw until what did you say?
