Contemporary Jazz group based in New Orleans. Featuring Ryan Cullen on piano and keyboards; George Alvey on acoustic and electric basses; Brian Graber on trumpet and sax and Dave Capello drums and vibes. Our original music ranges in style from all acoustic to electric fusion. Guest artists of extraordinary talent have leant even greater variety to this CD. We have been graced with Phillip Manuel, jazz and R&B vocalist, providing two powerful vocal cuts. James Singleton lends his exceptional bowing prowess on acoustic bass to several tracks. Mike Dillon plays gorgeous vibes and drums on Remembering Ursula ( a piece that Charlie Haden described as 'very beautiful and a tribute that will make your cousin proud.'). We also want to thank the following fabulous musicians for their input and encouragement during the process of making this CD: Bill Huntington; John Hebert; Steuart Smith and the 'Jazz Capacitator,' David Fink.
