"Apeirophobia" is a very ambitious project both musically and conceptually: Ifsounds are releasing an album with a 28-minutes-long suite when Italian rock fans are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Italian prog. "Apeirophobia" is how psychologists name the "fear of infinity". The homonymous suite is a travel through a man's lifetime that shows how religions and philosophies tried to cure this phobia evolving the Human Thought in the history. The lyrics of the album are about other social issues too, like emigration or death penalty, but always focusing them on psychology more than on politics. Musically this Ifsounds' album is influenced by great bands like Pink Floyd, Genesis or The Who, but with a more modern and "Mediterranean" touch, trying a fusion among British and Italian prog (PFM, Banco, Balletto di Bronzo).
