The one and only Laurel Aitken, a true pioneer in Jamaican music, superbly backed by the Skatalites with: Baba Brooks - trumpet; Tommy McCook - sax; Lester Sterling - sax; Gladdy Anderson - keyboards; Lloyd Brevette - bass; and Lloyd Knibbs - drums. A seminal combo who laid the foundation for generations to come. Intermittently recorded in 1963 at Federal Studio in Kingston, this is pure cool Jamaican sound and groove at it's best.
