Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the classic 1972 album by acclaimed singer/songwriter Al Stewart. 1975’s Modern Times was a major success for Al Stewart and was the first album he would record with producer Alan Parsons. He had already released five albums and had become a popular attraction on the UK live music scene. His previous work, Past, Present & Future had become a major selling album, but his first record with Parsons as a producer would be recorded at Abbey Road studios and would become an even more successful release, firmly putting Al Stewart on the map as one of the important artists of his era with such classic tracks as 'Next Time', 'Sirens of Titan', 'Apple Cider Re-Constitution', 'The Dark and Rolling Sea' and the album's expansive title track.
