Atomic Bitch is proud to announce the indie release of their 3rd album "Body Shop" on their own Top and Bottom Records. This album features ten new tracks of Biatch Rock and Roll. Engineered solely by Brad Davis and Ursulla Tadlock and mastered by Hans Hitner (the Fly's, Maypole) this record combines electronic beats, synths, gold spandex, Bitch Hop and a punk attitude. Brad and Ursulla are originally from New Orleans and this album is a reflection of that city's ability to nurture their misfits long after they have left home. Don't take our word for it though, just read the first official 2006 review from Chuck Eddy "Music Editor" of New York's Village Voice: Ursulla Tadlock is clearly the star of Atomic Bitch. I love how she gives the Cali new wave glam-punk valley girl voice a Louisiana drawl. Whoever writes the melodies (insert "Brad Davis"), which may or may not be Ursulla, is a star too. And assuming those two gals rapping cute come-ons in 'LipsTick-DynaMITE' (including come-ons about their inner thighs and come-ons to 'Southern truckers'), they are stars too. The band is fine; they do their punky job and push the music forward and support the yummy hooks and stay out of Ursulla's way. More funny and goofily capitalized song titles: 'shortBUS,' 'overWEIGHT date,' 'Polly PUNKneck,' 'CREEPY face.' 10 songs in under 30 minutes. Yay! For a sneak peek at what you might expect from an Atomic Bitch show read Bob Leggett's Music Connection live review Oct. 2005: "Atomic Bitch put on a show that was a feast for the eyes as well as the ears. Tadlock possessed the stage, exuding charisma and command in her vocals and presence. Tadlock's voice is like a sword and performs like rock's elite. In fact, you can literally feel her strength within the dynamics of each song. The band put all they had into the show." Atomic Bitch's CD, Body Shop can be found on atomicbitch.com, cdbaby.com, Amoeba Music Store L.A. and ITUNES. END.
