A collection of Stefano Molardi's masterful survey of Johann Sebastian Bach's organ music, and available for the first time in an extensive 15 CD edition. The collection is notable for Molardi's careful programming of a diverse mix of pieces that span the entirety of Bach's composing life. As such, the choice of organs was one that became a serious consideration, and Molardi plays on four different organs all dating from the 18th century, including the magnificent Silbermann organ in the newly restored Dresden Cathedral from 1755 are heard on this collection. Copious and informative liner notes included.
