Recordings by virtuoso violinist Natnan Milstein of Violin Concertos by Beethoven, Brahms, Mendellsohn, Tchaikovsky and Bruch. The Violin Concertos recorded here are among the best known of the great IXXst century production for violin and orchestra, and see as a soloist one of the reference names among XXst century violinists. Nathan Milstein was not a neophyte in this repertoire, having performed these concerts accompanied by the most famous international orchestras and the greatest conductors. However, his interpretations remain a model within a discography which, without his contribution, cannot be considered complete. From the old Columbia and Capitol engravings, Urania restores the preset selection, which is reproposed with a new code, after the previous edition (WS 121.153) sold out in a few weeks.
