Bola Sete: Kitchen Tapes

Bola Sete: Kitchen Tapes
Title: Kitchen Tapes
Label: CD Baby

Originally recorded in 1959 in Al Cunningham's kitchen. Given to Stu Deutsch in 2004, and then on to Anne Sete in 2010. Anne took it to Howard Johnston at Studio Trilogy in San Francisco, where the album was completed. The whole story is in the liner notes. Two songs were added from Bola's performance in 1974 at San Francisco State College. Three more original Bola songs finish up the album. The last song is Bola playing the piano. Bola wanted to play the piano like George Winston, so Bola practiced this song and recorded it for George. Pianist George Winston produced this CD.
