Brad Meldor, one of the leading figures in contemporary jazz piano, is back with his latest work! This latest release comes almost a year after the release of his progressive rock inspired album in March of this year, and is an album of covers of Beatles' songs arranged in his own style! The Beatles cover album, recorded at his solo show at the Philharmonie de Paris in September 2020, features new interpretations of songs by John Lennon and Paul McCartney as well as George Harrison. All of the songs on this album have never been recorded before and are the first official recordings of his performances. The album also includes a cover of David Bowie's classic "Life on Mars?" at the end of the album, a brilliant composition that expresses the connection between The Beatles and later pop songwriters in the MELDOR style. This product will be available for purchase on Friday, so it will be delivered on or after the day of release.
