Benjamin Britten's exile in America is explored in a new recording, released to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the composer's birth in November 2013. The Violin Concerto is a new studio recording and the recording of the Sea Interludes was made live in concert in 2013 at the Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels. 'In the Violin Concerto there are moments I find as beautiful as anything I've ever heard. I will always remember the effect this piece had on me when I first heard it, and I don't think that will ever go away.' -Matthew Trusler.
