Tony-award nominee Carol Lawrence is known for her gallant and energetic performances on stage and screen. Her dancing and singing abilities have coupled her with such talents as Mickey Katz and Larry Kert. She has performed on Broadway, film and television. Originally the second release on Choreo Records in the 1960's, this album features Carol performing Alec Wilder-style jazz compositions with Dick Grove and Harry Betts' all-star studio orchestras. Fred Astaire's experiment with a jazz label was in the able hand of composer/arranger Tommy Wolf and drummer Jackie Mills, who produced this and other recordings. This album has great charts, good sound and fine vocals.
