They Don't Sleep Anymore is the third in a series of four albums that subtly align with the seasons and the myriad nostalgic feelings which overwhelm me within them. The album title is inspired by the words of Murray Ostril, sampled in "Sleep" by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Where 'Until the Wind Stops Blowing' primarily dealt with the grief of losing the artist's mother to cancer, and 'All Things Shining' focused on coping and the acceptance of that loss, 'They Don't Sleep Anymore' is a combination of the utmost longing for the past, and the vigorous challenge in adapting to one's own present self and potential future. There are a lot of battling and intertwining ideas, opposites and synergies, questioning reality and self-reflection. HOT PINK W/ PURPLE AND ORANGE SPLATTER WAX.
