Cool Papa Bell is a southern rooted fun lovin' group of hard working musicians from Mississippi and they want to give people something that they're not used to, in a sensational way. With the release of their debut album in June 2008, they are striving to craft a new sound, one that represents who they are and where they are from. William Gates, a Memphis, TN native derives much of his style from Zydeco New Orleans jazz which is high energy and irresistible groovage. Robby Peoples is a slice of blues and his unique voice and stunning footwork is nothing short of a phenomenon. Chris Wheeler who comes from a family of musicians has crafted his own style from influences across this land and many others. Initially learning from rock influences he later ventured into every other genre to prevent boredom and create a monster. Paul Bresnahan hailing from the Queen City keeps these boys in check with his tight bass lines.
