2011 CD EP. Webb and McCracken's signatures are clearly imprinted on each of the songs, making the recording much more than merely a collection of duets. These seven songs still have the element of parallel play displayed on Ampersand, but on TN, Webb and McCracken (who played all the instruments on the album) seamlessly blend their artistic instincts, forming a distinctive sound. At times, the songs are heavy with mood and emotion, but somehow still light with honesty and intimacy that would not be compelling were it not the real thing. Apart from being a captivating auditory experience, TN EP plays as a chapter in the story of two professional autobiographers who spent the last 10 years learning to partner as writers, parents and musicians. And as it is with all gifted songwriters and their songs, if you listen closely you will find a piece of your story in there as well.
