Limited vinyl LP repressing. On vinyl for the first time since it's release, this 1972 funk rarity has been long sought-after by DJs. Tracks off Hines' debut have been sampled prominently for decades - including "Our Generation," which was featured in Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth's 1992 single "Straighten it Out," off hit album, Mecca and the Soul Brother. Most recently, "Our Generation" was in the spotlight when John Legend and the Roots covered it on their 2010 collaboration Wake Up! A must-have for funk & soul collectors! In the 2000s, Hines continued his recording career, releasing an album, an EP and two singles on his own Baby Blue Records label, as well as a re-release of the early USA sides.
