Title: Song For Me

Digitally remastered edition of this 1970 album packaged in a digipak complete with a 4-page booklet plus bonus tracks, celebrating 50 years since the release of Family's debut studio album. Growing out of the R&B boom of the early '60s, Family's sound evolved into a unique mix of progressive rock, blues, folk, jazz, psychedelia and high energy rock 'n' roll built around the distinctive vocals of frontman Roger Chapman, Charlie Whitney's innovative guitar playing and Rob Townsend's thunderous drumming. A Song For Me was released at the start of 1970 and the first album with the band's revised line-up with John Weider replacing Ric Grech on bass and Poli Palmer replacing Jim King. The album features the classic Family tracks "Drowned In Wine", "The Cat & The Rat" and the title track, the album reached #4 in the UK charts when it was released.
