Before Indian Jewelry, there was NTX+Electric, and this album documents that great band during it's most creative and inspired early time-before they had a chance to travel across the world, perfecting their live show while gaining fans and enemies with their excessive strobe lights, tribal percussion and overdriven amplifiers. This CD is remarkable for it's unrestrained sonic hedonism, timeless aesthetic and complete disregard for modern trends or styles. This album possesses a unique sense of surrealism, and feels closer in spirit to the films of Peter Greenaway and David Lynch then the usual psychedelic or rock and roll ethos. The song 'We Are the Wild Beast' appeared to Erika Thrasher in a dream one night in 2003. Brandon Davis, Candice Vincent and Tex Kerschen also appear on this record.
