Guitarist Jeff LaQuatra was the first prize winner in the 1996 Oswald Rantucci Guitar competition in Buffalo, New York. He has also won top prize in competitions sponsored by the Fortnightly Music Club of Cleveland (Ohio) and the Three Arts Club of Lakewood. During the summers of 1996 and 1997, Jeff performed at The Rome Festival (Italy), studying with the renowned guitar duo of Joanne Castellani and Michael Andriaccio. Born and raised in Brook Park, Ohio, Jeff began classical guitar studies in his early teens under the tutelage of Mary Lou Roberts. He furthered his studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music as a student of John Holmquist, receiving a Bachelor of Music Degree and graduating with honors. Mr. LaQuatra also earned a master of Music Degree from the University of Denver, serving as a graduate teaching assistant to Ricardo Iznaola.
