Jm Stevens, the mastermind behind Moonlight Towers, keeps the beerlight buzzing with his solo debut, Invisible Lines. The die was cast young for this sure-handed songwriter. Riding around rural Mississippi in the back of his parents' station wagon, Stevens developed an affinity for the endless stream of Top 40 chestnuts he affectionately calls "Wagon Rock." He started his first band at 12 and made his own scene, booking shows wherever he could find a venue in and around his hometown of West Point, MS. With forebears like Tom Petty and Neil Young as reference points, Invisible Lines aims for the prize of having listeners recognize themselves. The distillation of joy and sorrow into three-minute sermons that speak straight to the heart. Making the connections, one night at a time.
