Digitally remastered two fer containing a pair of albums from the acclaimed folk guitarist originally released in 1972 and 1973. Of Rivers And Religion' has a Dixieland flavor to it, marking a change from Fahey's usual style. Time magazine named it one of the Top Ten albums of the year. Commercially, neither album was particularly successful and Fahey parted company with Reprise Records. Despite chronic health problems, Fahey continued to record and gig before succumbing to heart problems in 2001 at the age of 62.
