Recorded in L.A. with some of the greatest musicians of our time, Johnny cash picked some of the greatest songs from some of his good friends and soon attracted a new following thanks to his tribute to Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska with two sensational tracks the heartfelt Highway Patrolman and of course the rockin' title track Johnny 99. The Man in Black continued his amazing trek of great interpretations with Guy Clark's New Cut Road, George Jones' I'm Ragged But Right, and of course the stunning fan favorite God Bless Robert E. Lee.
