SPANISH BIO Nativo de la República Dominicana, desde su niñez realizó estudios de piano y voz debutando su primer solo de piano a los 5 años. A los 16 años le fue otorgado el segundo lugar en el festival nacional "Buscando Nuevas Voces" en la República Dominicana. Durante 1996-2002, Jorge sirvió a tiempo completo como Director de Música en una iglesia anglosajona situada en Maryland, con más de 4,000 miembros donde dirigió un coro de 150 voces. Realizó estudios de post-grado en Liberty University con una certificación en Teología con orientación en estudios de Alabanza y Adoración bajo la instrucción de conocidos líderes de adoración norteamericanos como Don Moen, Ron Kenoly, entre otros. Jorge ha servido en un sin-número de posiciones de liderazgo y enseñanza. Dentro de los más notables: él dirigió el coro para la conferencia de Hombres de Promesa (Promise Keepers) en 1997 en el estadio RFK, donde se reunieron más de 50,000 hombres; también ayudó con la música para la marcha del Millón (Stand in the Gap) en Washington, DC en el mismo año. Además de esto, en múltiples ocasiones, Jorge ha dirigido la alabanza para los estudios bíblicos del Senado de los Estados Unidos donde ha tenido el privilegio de trabajar mano a mano con el ex-capellán del Senado, Dr. Lloyd Ogilvie. Jorge es ministro ordenado por su iglesia, Flamingo Road Church, donde se congrega junto a su esposa por 18 años, Danisa, y sus hijos, Dan, 16, y Sainad, 13. Su ministerio, Jordan Ministries Agency, Inc., no sólo se dedica a alcanzar vidas a través de la música, sino que está impactando a miles a través de la predicación de la Palabra de Dios; también ofrece seminarios para parejas, mujeres, y capacitación y entrenamiento para líderes de alabanza y adoración. Dios ha abierto puertas para que la música de Jorge sea conocida internacionalmente, viajando a las islas del Caribe, Centro y Sur América, y este año alcanzando países en Europa y Asia. From the age of 16, his unmistakable quest became using music to reach out to lives that need encouragement, comfort and an uplifting message of love and hope. At this tender age, he won second place at a national talent search in Santo Domingo. From 1996 to 2002, Jorge served full time as the Director of Music for Church of the Redeemer, a dynamic church located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where he led a 150-voice choir. He did graduate studies in Praise and Worship at Liberty University, under the instruction worship leaders and songwriters, such as Ron Kenoly, Don Moen, Lynn DiSchazo, among others. The enthusiasm and sincerity Jorge has demonstrated as a worship leader has earned him a distinct reputation in the community at large. Jorge has served in a number of leadership and teaching roles. Among the most notable, he directed the choir for the 1997 Promise Keepers' Conference at RFK Stadium, which was attended by over 50,000, and assisted with the music for the "March of the Million" (Stand in the Gap) in Washington, DC the same year. Additionally, on many occasions, Jorge has led worship for the U.S. Senate Staff, working closely with U.S. Senate Chaplin Dr. Lloyd Ogilvie. Jorge serves as an ordained minister at Flamingo Road Church, where he attends along with his wife for 18 years, Danisa, and his children Dan, 16, and Sainad, 14. His ministry, Jordan Ministries Agency, Inc., is dedicated not only to bringing excellence through music, but continues to impact thousands through the preaching of the Word; it offers marriage and women conferences and training workshops for worship leaders and church musicians. Jorge has launched his music internationally. He began traveling to several islands in the Caribbean, Central and South America, and is also reaching countries in Europe and Asia. He is expected to perform in Australia in the summer of 2008. Currently, Jorge is promoting his fourth project entitled, "Dios es Más" ("God is More"). Jorge's music is vibrant and reflects the passion of a heart consecrated to the service of the community and to bring peace and love to all with his encouraging and positive message. "My desire is to continue writing, singing, and recording songs that will bring a renewing and a positive message to our society. I want people not only to sing the songs I write, but to be encouraged by them.
