Hallo, we are JENNIFER and WIN KOWA living rock and pop music since we are out of our pampers. So if you are in the mood to get involved into some good guitar and vocal arrangements, feel free to join us with your emotions. It is always a problem to describe music, so it also is for us, 'cause there are so many styles in our music like rock, pop, blues, instrumental rock, etc. So you have to find out what fits best to your emotions. If you found out please let us know -statements are always welcome-. Anyway all the music we recorded is done with a lot of soul so just let yourself go and listen to what we did for you!!! JENNIFER and WIN History: JENNIFER started gigging at the age of 13. She was founder and singer of the Prog Rock-Band Octopus. 1976 Octopus released their first album "The Boat of Thoughts", 1978 a second album "The Ocean of Rock" followed. WIN joined Octopus in 1978. Octopus was an important part and a driving force in the "Rock against Racism Movement" in Germany. Highlight was the "Rock gegen Rechts" Open-Air-Festival in Frankfurt with more than 60.000 people in 1979. 1979 Octopus released the album "Rubber Angel". At the end of 1979 JENNIFER and WIN left Octopus. Beside singing JENNIFER started to play bass. So they only needed a drummer to form the power trio THE RADIO in 1982. In the following years they played over 1000 gigs in Germany and Europe and headlined lots of Open-Air-Festivals. JENNIFER and WIN became endorser for SENNHEISER, PAISTE and ROLAND. In 1992 IC-Digit offered WIN and JENNIFER a worldwide record deal. 3 Instrumental CDs named WIN KOWA (Discovery Drive, Touchdown and Imagination) were released from 1992-1995. For the idea to involve JENNIFER\'s exceptional voice -non lingual- as an instrument, they responded a lot of appreciation. In consequence of all those positive reactions 2 CDs, now named -KOWA- (African Moments and Nippon Moments) were produced in 1996 and 1997. JENNIFER\'s voice supported by African friends and other Ethno musicians completed the brilliant combination of interesting voice design and remarkable guitar solos. Among other things KOWA was invited to join compilations with Vangelis, Mike Oldfield, Kitaro, Andy Summers and Dido. They also became part of the Café del Sol and Café del Mar series. At the same time KOWA went on producing commercials for international campaigns. They achieved awards all over the world. The Gold Comprix in London, the Golden Award of Montreux and Finalist of the Golden Globe in New York. In 2000 they produced the last CD (American Moments) for IC-Digit. In June 2007 JENNIFER and WIN released their new CD (Gemini) on their own label ROUGE RECORDS worldwide exclusively distributed by CD Baby, Portland USA. And there is more to come .......
