Description

Title: Place In The Sun
Label: Srcvinyl
Product Type: VINYL LP

Limited 180gm blue smoke and clear colored vinyl LP pressing. To make an album that strikes a chord around the world in it's year of release is one thing, but to produce one that includes three massive hit singles and an enduring anthem that spans generations is an achievement few can accomplish. That's exactly what Lit did with their 1999 album A Place In The Sun's and it's global hit "My Own Worst Enemy" which shot to No. 1 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart and became one of the top ten most played rock songs of 2000. Tours with No Doubt, The Offspring and Garbage followed with the band clocking up close to 500 shows around the world within a two year period. It wasn't long before Lit's huge success in the US crossed the Atlantic. "My Own Worst Enemy" hit the UK Top 20 and earned them appearances on "Top Of The Pops" as well as a coveted slot on the Reading and Leeds Festival mainstage.
