The Littlest Birds are a unique, nationally acclaimed duo featuring David Huebner on cello and Sharon Martinson on banjo. Since 2010 they've performed across most of the United States and even Canada including such national festivals as the Oregon Country Fair and Vancouver Folk Music Festival. This live album captures the spirit and energy of their recent performances, recorded in the midst of a 60 show U.S. Tour in the Fall of 2013. Most of the tracks are from a show in Crossville, Tennessee, recorded at the Historic Palace Theater by Terry Ashburn. The bulk of the remaining tracks are from an intimate outdoor show at the Black Dog Cafe in Tallahassee, Florida. It ends with a track recorded live on-air at the one and only KPIG Studios in Watsonville, California with John Sandidge hosting. While you can order downloads if you'd like, a limited edition of 2000 handmade letterpressed packages has been produced and you will receive one of these limited edition, numbered packages if you order a hard copy CD. Get one while supplies last. They will certainly go quickly. 'Think instrumental virtuosity balanced by a breezy, backwoods soul, music that is both intellectually stimulating and emotionally soothing.' - Dan Bolles, Seven Days Weekly, Burlington VT.
