With liner notes detailing the rich historical roots, this album features meditative and uplifting ragas which are thought to be therapeutic, healing and even encourage creativity. Pandit Ronu Majumdar is a globally renowned, Grammy-nominated, multiple award-winning Bansuri flutist from the Hindustani tradition of Indian classical music. He is a pioneer in his field and was trained by Pt. Pannalal Ghosh and Pt. Ravi Shankar. This is the second release in the Classical Traditions series which recently launched with 'Classical Traditions - The Turkish Oud.'
