It's his own take on the basic framework of samba... an outstanding example of a contemporary piece of mood music. Brazilian composer & guitarist Marco de Carvalho brings together his longtime musical family for a set of thoughtful and introspective originals. A graduate of the Brazilian Music Conservatory, Marco was taught by Juarez Carvalho, whom he considers his greatest mentor of the guitar. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, he now resides Seattle.
