Walk a little Ways with Me was produced by Mary James and recorded at her home studio in Tennessee. This upbeat album features Mary on vocals, guitar, banjo, violin, mandolin, bass, castanets, and percussion. Mary's brother, Frank James, adds his vocal and instrumental skills, along with Allen Marshall on drums, and Tim Miller on spoons. Mary is joined by special guest, Bob Arnold, who lends his low, Johnny Cash-esque voice for a surprising duet. All lyrics and music by Mary James or co-written with Mary and her mother, author/songwriter Jean James).
