The modern German composer Michael Gregor Scholl premiers his Pentotita (1985/86), for solo cello performed by cellist Guido Schiefen; Ueber Glitzernden Kies (1986-88) "Ein Sternentraum" for mezzo-soprano, violin, clarinet and prepared piano - based on the poetry of Else Lasker-Schuler performed by Ruth Sandhoff (mezzo-soprano); Pieter Daniel (violin); David Smeyers (clarinets); Peter Bortfeld (piano); and Memento (1992) variations for piano, performed by pianist Friedrich Hericke. World premier recordings. All selections newly remastered.
