'This CD comprised of my favorite harp and piano music is the accomplishment of a year long evolutionary transformation. The process began when I re-learned Debussy's piano piece, Reverie, for a playing engagement. While revising and perfecting it for the harp, this piece became the catalyst that began my recording project. This compilation includes selections from my repertoire and works I was inspired to master. Few changes were made during the recording sessions to create the mood of a live performance and capture the spirit of the music.' - Mindy Cutcher Mindy Cutcher is the Principal Harpist for the Pennsylvania Ballet and performs throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Symphonic engagements include the Baltimore and Delaware Symphonies, St. Louis Symphony and Philadelphia's Chamber Orchestra and Opera Orchestra. A student of world renowned Alice Chalifoux at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Mindy Cutcher received her Bachelor of Music Degree in Harp Performance. Even before graduating, however, Ms. Cutcher had already gained national exposure when she made her network television debut on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Winner of the Baltimore Youth Concerto Competition at age 17, Ms. Cutcher was subsequently a finalist in the 1991 Baltimore Concerto Competition. Her academic honors include membership in Pi Kappa Lambda, the national music honor society. In addition to the time she spent in the Orient, Ms. Cutcher entertained for world cruisers onboard the M/S Crown Odyssey, the M/S Royal Viking Sun and the M/S Statendam.
