Horton Records, George Kaiser Family Foundation, Folk Salad Radio, House Concerts Unlimited, and Woody Guthrie Center have teamed up to showcase 21 Oklahoma folk and roots-based artists at Folk Alliance International in Kansas City from Feb 19-23, 2014. This is the largest annual event of it's kind for Folk & Roots artists, and brings together industry representatives of all types (musicians, booking agents, record labels, publicity firms, radio, promoters, talent managers, etc). We believe Oklahoma music and musicians are some of the most valuable natural resources in our state. We want to highlight the vast talent and music-related resources that we have in Oklahoma, and hope to be strongly considered as a host for Folk Alliance International in the future. This is just a taste of the great talent that we have in Oklahoma. Find something you like and go check that artist's full catalogue. Proceeds from this release will benefit the Woody Guthrie Center Educational Scholarship Fund. Peace from Tulsa!
