Here's the first solo release in many years from the long-time bass player and vocalist with The Bacon Brothers band. An accomplished producer as well as a songwriter and performer, Paul Guzzone gives his own songs and collaborations the sonic loving care they deserve creating a lush feast for the ears. On Chasing the Moon, soundscape meets reggae-infused pop and contemporary rock gives way to retro. In his lyrics, fantasy induces romance and feel-good vibes also deliver a touch of pathos. The seductive title track draws lovers into a journey through the fantastic night and the closing tune ponders the fate of a man who has everything. "In an oversaturated world of music and media Chasing The Moon is instantly accessible to the ears, the head and the heart." - Peter Bliss, Songwriter-Producer (Barbra Streisand, 'N Sync) & Founder, New York Songwriters Collective "With the depth and diversification of styles that Paul brings to his singing, production choices and song compositions, Chasing The Moon is by far his best work to date." - Rex Fowler, Singer-Songwriter (Aztec Two-Step, The Nutopians) 'Paul Guzzone is blessed with an amazing voice, a sensitive writing style and unlimited production chops.' - Michael Bacon, Emmy Award-winning composer Paul has performed with The Bacon Brothers around the world and on broadcasts including The Tonight Show, Prairie Home Companion, The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson and The View. He co-produced several of the band's CDs and co-wrote their new single "493 Miles." Paul also toured with Tom Rush, including his 2012 holiday show at Boston's Symphony Hall; Tom Chapin; Buskin and Batteau; the 70's folk-rock band Revival; and the band Little Criminals. Paul's songs and collaborations have been recorded by other artists including folk-blues songwriter Ruthie Foster and pop singer Shara Strand. His music is represented by Chris Keaton Productions in Nashville. Paul's own 2012 single and video "Light@the EOL" (Light at the End of the Line) commented on dysfunctional politics and resonated with listeners around the world. Paul is also an award-winning composer and producer of music for business and broadcast. His work has been featured in national ad campaigns and at high-visibility events such as the launch of the new Corvette Stingray at the International Auto Show in Detroit.
