Artist: Racquet Club
Title: Racquet Club
Product Type: COMPACT DISCS

Racquet Club are a new band, but they're far from new. The band features singer/frontman Blair Shehan (The Jealous Sound, Knapsack), as well as guitar player Sergie Loobkoff (Samiam). Both are seasoned veterans with years of experience, who have resurfaced and started this exciting new band. Both Blair and Sergie are largely responsible for architecting the melodic emo California sound. Racquet Club went into the studio with Alex Newport (At The Drive In, The Mars Volta, Samiam) and the result is the band's self-titled debut. The album is 10 songs that are a perfect blend of melodic rock and underground emo, not unlike Jimmy Eat World, Sunny Day Real Estate, or Death Cab For Cutie. Blair and Sergie are underground legends that still have the passion and conviction to write incredible music and tour. Racquet Club aren't in it for the money, they're doing this for their love of music and their love of art.
