Shangri-La is a Rock band. The band is a literary (James Hilton's Lost Horizons) as well as a mystical reference (Shambhala) and symbolizes an invitation to travel. Shangri-La constitutes above all a concept of inner paradise, accessible to all, as sung by the Kinks in 1969. There are many influences: Rock, Blues, Metal, Jazz... His styles goes from Progressive Rock to Blues-Rock, with incursions into Punk.In 2017, the band decided to enter the studio to record their first album, Trouble Maker. At the same time the band took to the stage and numerous dates and venues were organized.In 2018 the group went on tour to promote their album and also presented new titles to further enrich it's set. The group is broadcast on 14 radio stations in France and abroad such as RTL2, Alta Frequenza, France Bleu RCFM, Indie Rocks UK, Radio La Fontaine, Océanie FM Nouvelle Calédonie, Chat and Spin Radio, LNA Radio...In 2019, Shangri-La performed at renowned festivals such as the Lorient Interceltic Festival and the Erbalunga Festival among others. The group played as the opening act for established artists such as Marc Lavoine and participated in artistic collaborations, such as the duo "3.45 Barcelona El Prato "recorded with Diana Saliceti. In October 2019 France 3 Corse Via Stella dedicated the premiere of the new music show "Ascolta" to the group Shangri-La.In December 2019, Shangri-La released a two-track CD, "Bourbon Cream", on which appeared the eponymous single but also "Midnight Crimes", prefiguration of the second album recorded in 2020. This difficult year, in addition to a few dates on stage and an appearance on BFM TV, is marked by partnerships with the French guitar manufacturer Custom 77 and the independent label M&O Music, as well as the collaboration on the new album with Babet, violinist and singer of the band Dionysos.
