Happy Coat is the second to last recording of the great double-bassist, Ray Brown made with Pianist Shota Osabe and drummer Harold Jones. He recorded this wonderful album just 123 days before his death. The trio performance is legendary and the sound is very warm and cozy. If you are a fan of his, you will want a copy for your collection. Happy Coat was recorded by Grammy award winners, Erik Zobler and Al Schmitt in 2002. Available on the new K2 HD format developed by JVC (which is playable on any CD player).
