Paul DiBartolo, Rob de Luca (also member of UFO), Tommi Gallo and Ray West are Spread Eagle, one of the last bands to debut onto the remnants of the shattering glam metal scene, and they made as much of their short stay as they could with this screeching, powerful self-titled debut. They were brimming with talent. With an explosive and powerful opening track like "Broken City," followed directly by a straightforwardly sleazy, raunchy, and brash "Back on the Bitch" and then culminating with the enormously powerful, desperately delivered album highlight "Switchblade Serenade," with eight more hard-hitting, straightforward songs, Spread Eagle proved that they had the talent to be something big.
