Steve Lawrence, best known as an American singer in the duo with his wife Eydie Gormé first appearing in 1954 on "Tonight Starring Steve Allen" dabbled in multiple fields, including as a comedian and actor (most well-known for his portrayal of Maury Sline in the Blues brothers). Lawrence found success with multiple songs in the charts in the late 1950's and early 60's with "Go Away Little Girl" and "Pretty Blue Eyes" to name but a few. This album is a celebration of Steve's charismatic vocals and his ability to capture incomparably warm emotion in his vocal delivery on tracks such as "A World Without Love" and "The Man I Could Have Been".
