Jacques Vandeville is a tireless discoverer of unpublished classical and modern music. He is notably responsible for the rediscovery of forgotten French 18th century works such as Nicolas Chedeville, Hotteterre and Michel Pignolet de Monteclair. His nearly 50 recordings include several award-winning albums. Jean-Michel Louchart has studied at Versailles Conservatoire and the National Conservatoire of Music of Paris, obtaining several first and second prizes of piano, counterpoint, fugue, organ, and improvisation during his time as a student. In addition to his musical studies, he obtained a master's degree in the teaching of classical literature. Titular organist of Saint-Marcel's Church in Paris, he is also a teacher of accompaniment, organ, and improvisation at Conservatoire of Ville d'Avray. This release features sonatas for oboe by JS Bach, CPE Bach, and JC Bach, as well as Telemann.
