Against the majestic backdrop of the Baths of Caracalla in Rome, superstar tenors Jose Carreras, Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti were joined by more than two hundred musicians and conductor Zubin Mehta for a spectacular event that made musical history and made the 'Three Tenors' synonymous with the 'Beautiful Game' to so many worldwide.
