2015 release. Tom Dyer is a Pacific Northwest fellow-a rather noisy one. For his ninth release in the last six years, he embraces the NW canon of his youth-works by The Sonics, The Wailers, Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Ventures, The Fleetwoods, The Kingsmen, Merrilee Rush & The Turnabouts, as well as many lesser known gems from the 1959-68 period, when Northwest bands could deliver radio hits on the teen beacon of Seattle's KJR. To execute this difficult task, a raucous band of Green Monkey all-stars was assembled with members of King County Queens and the Green Pajamas. Producer Steve Fisk was brought in to track the unholy racket.
