From a fan... posted on Amazon. Com when this CD was released in Japan in 2006. What more can we say. A Moving Farewell, June 22, 2006 By TLCSSD This is a great and beautiful recording, with Vanwarmer's best singing in many years. Listen to it on the best quality sound system you can find. It's not only a respectful tribute to a songwriter he clearly admires but is also an unexpectedly innovative and at times witty one-man show (Randy plays all the instruments). That he completed work on this record a few days after learning of his illness, and that he was destined to die on the anniversary of Foster's death, gives the recording an additional element of depth and poignancy. This is Randy's best record since 'The Beat of Love' and 'Terraform', way back in the early '80s. He is missed.
