Volume One. Limited box set containing ten 45rpm reproduction seven inches of singles from the legendary Australian label Festival Records. Each of the singles are mastered from the original analog tapes in glorious mono! We've even reproduced the original labels in all their letterpress glory to give you the original sound, original look and the original price of admission (inflation considered) to the world of amazing mid to late 1960's 7' Australian 45 rpm sounds. To acquire all ten of these sevens as mint originals would see you looking at high four figures, getting close to five figures. These 7' are housed in a full color, sturdy clam shell type box. This swank set is rounded out by booklet featuring extensive liner notes by Grammy nominated writer and veteran of many swell sets of the Ace & Rhino labels, Alec Palao. Includes singles by Toni McCann with the Blue Jays, the 4 Strangers, the Blue Beats, Derek's Accent, the Atlantics, the Lost Souls, the Black Diamonds, the Sunsets, the Playboys, and Inside Looking Out.
