The Deep Love compilation has become a way for Dirt Crew Recordings to highlight and welcome new faces to the label. For 2017, more than ever, the label have artists from all over the world, from Japan to Canada and Lithuania to Austria represented. True to his usual unique blend of many styles, Nachtbraker has delivered typically off-kilter "Cobi Cabani" with crashes and sound design that punctuate a freaky bass and rippling lead. Dropping in for his debut outing on our label, Viennese founder of the Secret Crunch imprint, Roman Rauch brings the filtered disco house. Ripe with fruity percussion and deeply ingrained groove, "Sweet Ears" builds up energy throughout. Lorenz Rhode is an extraordinary artist who's not only active in the house scene but has also created his own big band, the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld. He gets right to it in "On Top", a legit live key and bass jam with funk from a seasoned jazz musician. Toronto's Jesse Futerman teams up with Dan Only. On "Changes", he wanders into coastal-tinged deep house territory. Leipzig's finest M. ono produces "Jamas", a rumbling, samba touched, hip moving jam with powerful horn stabs and jangly percussion bring a true street party feeling. The Icelandic wunderkind Felix Leifur provides an artful mix of glitched, lo-fi breaks, signature Rhodes, dusty hip-hop samples, and scratched jazz cuts that flex into outer-worldly extravaganza on "Record". Ponty Mython offers the super spacious disco sojourn "Who Am I Kidding?" - classy, deep, sauntering, and aloof. The Nagano based artist Jun Kamoda is back on the label with a crazy mix of influences. On "Whole Lotta Love", arps bounce amongst sweet melodies while crisp drums play with pitchy vocals, it's functional yet left-field house at it's finest. A multi-talented creative, he's also painted the wonderful artwork featured on the front of the record's sleeve. Thatmanonkzgoes deep on "Liebestrasse" with a smoky and soulful with a casual clap, glowing Rhodes, and winding lead. Loz Goddard returns with a blissful summer tune, his feel-good mix of disco and house reminiscent of early Groove Armada. Wrapping up is BAL 5000 with one hell of a stomper. The Hungarian producer offers "Under The Influence": Rave stabs intersect a guttural bass and acidic lead on this electro infused house groove, reminiscent of early Warp-ish bleep house.
