The Story In the grand tradition of the classic spaghetti western movies, Deep Eddy Records presents il Triello: Three Western Tales. It's a spaghetti western-themed compilation CD featuring three new songs each by three bands with one obvious influence: Ennio Morricone. Il Triello, translation: The Trio, was created as a tribute to the greatest of all westerns - The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. The Players The Man from RavCon: The Man From RavCon, aka Mike Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina, creates melodic instro-rock featuring arrangements designed to impart a strong visual appeal. His four releases feature tracks influenced by classic instro/surf artists as well as cult genre soundtrack composers. His latest release, Rides Again!, like the music included on il Triello, is a study in the cinematic twang popularized in the classic spaghetti westerns. The Nematoads Hailing from Austin, Texas, The Nematoads are no strangers to westerns. Their classic 2007 debut album Five Guns West is a picturesque exploration into the sounds of the American southwest. Their contribution to il Triello continues in that tradition. Los Fantasticos Los Fantasticos have been perfecting their blend of instrumental surf 'n' spaghetti since forming in 2004 in the twin cities of Brighton and Hove on England's south coast. Their blend of reverb-heavy guitars, pounding drums, skittering bass rhythms, and just a hint of Mariachi trumpet, coupled with a fine sense of melody, as evident in their three acclaimed CDs, has earned them plaudits in many of the right places.
