Title: Progressive Music from Around the World
Artist: One World Tapestry
Label: Musea Records France
UPC: 3426300047144
Genre: Rock

A very special release, initiated by Australian disc-jockey Andrew Holborn. It's a benefit CD, in conjunction with the International Red Cross, in hopes of raising money for the Sudanese refugees. Musea produced and manufactured it. 15 bands and artists contributed, from all around the world: Indonesia, Australia, Sweden, France, USA, Brazil, and Hungary. There are progressive bands (In the Labyrinth, Minimum Vital, Quaterna Requiem, musicians from Hungarian band Solaris, Pocos and Nuvens), but also ethnic, folk, electronic. All these bands share different musical cultures, popular musical roots, and a common quest for authenticity. It's a very strong music, and Sudanese refugees deserved this respectful tribute, in their fight to survive.
